CODE OF CONDUCT

RULES + CONDUCT + WAIVER

RULES

Equipment:

1.  All players must wear shin pads that are to be covered with socks or pants.

2. All players must play with a numbered jersey.

3. All players must wear cleats with plastic studs, or running shoes.  

4. All players must remove or tape all jewelry prior to matches.

5. Any hard casts or braces must be wrapped prior to play.

 

Suspensions:

1.  Three (3) yellow cards will result in a one (1) game suspension.

2. Red card suspensions are subject to varying lengths based on the degree of the offence(s).

3. Referee abuse will result in permanent dismissal from the league with no refund.

 

Team Rosters:

1.  Players must register online and sign the waiver to be eligible for participation.

2. All players must sign in with the admin prior to each game.

3. Teams are allowed to add call-ups for matches with the following conditions:

·        Call-ups must register online and sign the waiver by noon the day of the match.

·        Call-ups are permanently added onto team roster.

·        Rosters may have a maximum of 16 players, more players cannot be added once this number is reached.

·        If a team’s goalie is injured and unable to play while the roster is full, contact us directly (offsznseries@gmail.com).

 

Playoff Rosters (if applicable):

1. Players must have played or been a part of team roster prior to first playoff match.

 

Ineligible Players:

1. If an ineligible player is found to be participating in a match, the match will be forfeited by the responsible team.

· If you suspect an ineligible player is playing, please notify the admin worker. They will confirm the player’s identity with a photo from registration.

 

Forfeits:

1.  Teams have 5 minutes past scheduled game time to field enough players to avoid forfeit.

2. Minimum 4 players (including goalie) required in all divisions in order for match to take place without forfeiting. 

 

Game Cancellations:

1.  Team captains notified of cancellations 2 hours prior to kick off.

·   Cancellations may be announced closer to kick off in the event of severe inclement weather.

2. Matches will only be cancelled in the event of inclement weather or poor field conditions.

3. Cancelled games will be played the following week assuming the team only has one (1) scheduled match, unless both teams agree otherwise. 

 

Refund Policy:

1.  Individual registrants can receive a refund up until their third match in the league. 

2. $25 administration fee and per game fee for each week passed.

3. Jersey must be returned to OffSzn Series by the final match day.

·   Additional fee will be administered in the event the jersey is not returned.

4. Refund policy is not eligible for teams.

·    In the event a player registered with a team would no longer like to participate in the league, the team captain decides if they will refund said player. 

CODE OF CONDUCT

 

  1. Respect for Others: All participants must treat their teammates, opponents, referees, and spectators with respect and courtesy.

  2. Fair Play: All players are expected to play fairly and within the rules of the game.

  3. Sportsmanship: Good sportsmanship is expected from all participants at all times. This includes accepting the decisions of referees, congratulating opponents on good play, and showing respect for the game.

  4. Responsibility: All participants are responsible for their own actions and behavior. Any misconduct will not be tolerated.

  5. Safety: The safety of all players and spectators is of the utmost importance. Any dangerous play will result in disciplinary action.

  6. Alcohol and Drugs: The consumption of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited before or during games.

 

WAVIER FORM

 

  1. I understand and acknowledge that participating in soccer games involves certain risks, including the risk of injury or death.

  2. I agree to assume all risks associated with participating in the Offszn Series soccer league.

  3. I certify that I am in good health and have no medical conditions that would prevent me from participating in soccer games.

  4. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Offszn Series soccer league, as well as any decisions made by referees and league officials.

  5. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my own safety and well-being while participating in soccer games.

  6. I release and waive any claims I may have against the Offszn Series soccer league, its organizers, sponsors, officials, or volunteers for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur while participating in soccer games.

  7. I understand that this waiver and acknowledgment form is binding and applies to all games in the Offszn Series soccer league.

  8. This Includes all Offszn Series leagues, tournaments, events (Adult Leagues, Money Tournaments, Youth futsal Leagues)
